Mrs. Morgan has a Bachelor's degree in English from Judson College. She received her Master’s in Special Education (K-12) from the University of West Alabama in 2020.

Mrs. Morgan is a former graduate of Flomaton High School. She attended Jefferson Davis Community College in Brewton, Alabama and went on to complete her undergraduate degree at Judson College in Marion, Alabama. Upon completing her degree, she returned home to work in the family business, Flomaton Antique Auction. Later, she became a substitute teacher and then obtained her master's degree in special education at the University of West Alabama. Mrs. Morgan assists in planning homecoming activities and is a sponsor of the Miss FHS Pageant. She also sponsors the Flomaton High School Art Club.

Mrs. Morgan is married to Bill Morgan and they have four children.
