Flomaton High School is the home of the Hurricanes! Located in Flomaton, Alabama, FHS serves the needs of students in central Escambia County. Hosting students grades 7 through 12, FHS offers a challenging curriculum to prepare today's students for the demands of tomorrow. As a Class 3A school, Flomaton High is able to offer the charm of a small town coupled with individual attention to each of its students as well as the opportunities offered by larger schools. Armed with a plethora of extra-curricular activities and academic courses, FHS is able to attack the educational needs of the community. With an emphasis on career readiness and college preparation, FHS offers courses ranging from television production to the various classes of its honors program. Principal George Brown leads the Hurricanes with a vision pointed towards the future. With plans to expand its already broad academic programs, FHS also holds true to the traditions of the past. With a history of academic excellence, a postive learning environment, and a stellar athletic program, FHS remains a beacon of light in Flomaton, the gateway to the Gulf Coast.
